Twenty Two is the first in a series of collaborations with filmmaker Matthew Taylor and members of the San Fransisco Ballet. These mostly improvised dance performances were shot and edited by Taylor into impressionistic video sculptures. The music is a free-flowing and spontaneous response to the movement and texture of the pieces.

Mechana (Composer)

On December 21st, 2025, Düül Suns brought recording equipment into Please Space photo studio in Redhook, Brooklyn. A film crew captured them performing tracks from their self-titled album as night fell on the shortest day of the year.

Duul Suns - Jealousy (Recording Engineer)

Span is the second in the series. Here a brief window of time in a transient public space is temporarily stretched into an alternate reality, but the spell is quickly broken.

Star The Moonlight - Haven’t You Heard (Recording Engineer)

Star the Moonlight is a neo-soul band straight from the outer rim, brimming with lush timbres and harmonies and driven by the powerful rhythmic interplay of interlocking grooves. It is the result of the unique collaboration of composer/songwriter/keyboardist/bass clarinetist Max Zooi and singer Hattie Simon, keyboardist Andrew Freedman, bassist James Quinlan and drummer Phil McNeal.

Glide (Composer)

Glide is the third piece in the collaboration with Taylor. Movement and sound break down into stillness and noise.
